Belgium’s King Philippe confirms planned state visit to Kazakhstan

Belgian King Philippe has confirmed his intention to make a state visit to Kazakhstan this year, following an invitation from Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, according to the Kazakh president’s press office.

In a reply to Tokayev, King Philippe said he was looking forward to visiting the Kazakh capital, Astana.

The Belgian monarch also expressed his gratitude to Tokayev for his warm wishes on the occasion of Belgium’s National Day.
