Media: China has promised $1 trillion in investment to US in exchange for elimination of customs duties

China has proposed to invest $1 trillion in the US economy in exchange for the elimination of customs duties, APA reports, citing Bloomberg.

According to the agency's sources, Beijing also insists on reducing duties on imports of raw materials used by Chinese enterprises operating in the US.

Bloomberg notes that discussions are still ongoing on the amount of investment Washington will agree to accept.
