Iranian authorities have ordered the identification and seizure of assets belonging to 100 individuals in connection with alleged support for what officials described as “enemy actions” against the state, according to remarks from a senior judicial official in Isfahan.
The head of the Isfahan judiciary, Asadollah Jafari, said the individuals targeted were “traitors to the homeland” who had supported Iran’s adversaries in various ways, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
He did not provide further details on the alleged activities or the identities of those affected.
Jafari said the process of identifying and confiscating assets was underway and would continue across Isfahan province.
