The Iranian Embassy in Armenia has responded distinctively to an incident in which an Israeli television channel displayed the Azerbaijani flag instead of the Armenian flag during a broadcast.
Axar.az reports that the Embassy made a statement on X.
"No one can show another flag instead of the beautiful flag of Armenia. Armenia is a historical and civilizational nation, and Iran has always stood by it."
It should be noted that Israel’s Kan-11 channel mistakenly presented Armenia with the Azerbaijani flag during the semi-final of the Eurovision 2026 Song Contest.
