Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have launched 10 investment projects with a total value of $389 million.
Axar.az informs, citing Rеport, that the projects were launched during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Uzbekistan on August 23–24.
Jasurbek Choriyev, secretary-general of the Permanent Secretariat of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission and, at the time of the interview, Uzbekistan’s deputy transport minister, said the projects include the construction of SOCAR filling stations.
The first phase envisages building five filling stations in Namangan, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Syrdarya and Tashkent regions.
Construction has also begun on an “Azerbaijan” park covering four hectares in the territory of the “New Tashkent” residential area.
