The 8th EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum is set to be held in Baku on October 21 under the theme “Connecting Corridors: Interconnectivity and Infrastructure.”
The forum comes at a significant time, marking both 30 years of partnership between the European Union and Azerbaijan and a decade since the first EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum was held in Baku in 2016, according to local media.
The event will gather government representatives, European and Azerbaijani companies, chambers of commerce, business associations, international organisations, and other stakeholders. Its agenda will include high-level discussions, thematic sessions, and B2B meetings focused on strengthening trade and economic ties, encouraging investment, and advancing infrastructure and transport corridor development.
Participants are also expected to review the main findings of the EU Business Climate in Azerbaijan 2025–2026, based on a survey of European companies carried out between January and July 2026. The forum will also feature a presentation of the study “Trade Sector Development in Azerbaijan: Policy, Constraints, and Opportunities.”
Over the past 10 years, the EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum has provided an important platform for engagement between European and Azerbaijani business communities, helping build partnerships and create opportunities for new investment projects.
