Ukraine's air defence systems repelled a large-scale overnight attack carried out by Russia involving a ballistic missile and dozens of drones, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
According to the statement, Russia launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and a total of 90 strike drones of various types, including “Shahed,” “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and decoy drones known as “Parody.”

Ukrainian air defences, including aviation units, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups, were involved in repelling the attack.
Preliminary data as of 08:30 indicated that 83 drones were shot down or suppressed across the north, south, and east of the country.
The report also confirmed a missile impact and six drone strikes at seven locations, as well as falling debris from intercepted drones at nine additional sites.
Authorities warned that the attack was still ongoing, with drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace, urging residents to follow safety guidelines.
