Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence said three northern land border centres were targeted in an attack, causing material damage.
Axar.az reports that Kuwait’s Defense Ministry spokesperson, Major General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi also said an offshore drilling platform belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company in Kuwait’s territorial waters was also targeted by a hostile drone, resulting in material damage and the injury of one employee, who is receiving the necessary medical care.
"The relevant authorities immediately began taking the necessary measures to deal with the incident in coordination with the concerned bodies.
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces reaffirmed the continued readiness of the armed forces and said all necessary measures and procedures are being taken to protect the country’s security and territorial integrity," the statement said.
Earlier, the Iranian army has carried out a strike on Kuwait. According to local media outlets US military missile units were targeted in the attack.
