Russia’s Investigative Committee has accused former Ukrainian Defense Ministers Oleksii Reznikov and Mykhailo Fedorov of involvement in military operations against civilians in Donbas.
Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that according to the Investigative Committee, the allegations were announced following a meeting in Luhansk chaired by Investigative Committee head Alexander Bastrykin. The committee said it had established Reznikov and Fedorov’s alleged involvement in a criminal case concerning the treatment of civilians in Donbas.
According to the committee, Reznikov and Fedorov issued orders and instructions in 2021–2023 and 2026 that enabled military operations in Donbas.
The committee said formal decisions had been issued to charge both former ministers and that an international search for them had been organized.
