The Kremlin considers it inappropriate to draw parallels between the Russia-Ukraine and Iran-Israel conflicts, said the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, Israel’s strikes on Iran were completely unprovoked.
“As for the start of the special military operation, the reason for it is well known to everyone. It can probably be repeated, but this is a rather long story that began several decades ago when NATO started moving its military infrastructure closer to our borders, and NATO countries sponsored an armed bloody coup in Kyiv,” the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.
