Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of Paweł Radomski, the newly appointed Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan, on June 27.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Radomski formally presented his credentials to President Aliyev. The meeting that followed focused on deepening bilateral relations, particularly in light of Poland’s role as a European Union member and Azerbaijan’s ongoing engagement with the EU, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

President Aliyev emphasised that recent high-level contacts between Azerbaijan and the EU have set the stage for enhanced cooperation and a new chapter in bilateral relations.

Ambassador Radomski conveyed greetings from Polish President Andrzej Duda, which were warmly received by President Aliyev, who asked the ambassador to extend his regards in return.

Radomski shared his impressions of the development of Baku, noting that he had visited Azerbaijan’s liberated territories and was deeply impressed by the large-scale construction efforts underway, as well as the natural beauty of those regions.

The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation through the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and parliamentary working groups. Key areas of focus included economy, trade, energy, and transport.
