Azerbaijani oil prices climb

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. The price of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude at Italy’s Augusta port rose by $0.49, or 0.72%, to $68.59 per barrel on a CIF basis, a source in the oil market told Trend.

At Türkiye’s Ceyhan port, Azeri Light gained $0.51, or 0.77%, to settle at $67.08 per barrel on an FOB basis.

In contrast, Russia’s Urals crude slipped by $0.31, or 0.55%, to $55.83 per barrel, while North Sea Dated Brent fell $0.38, or 0.56%, to $67.91 per barrel.

Azerbaijan’s state budget for 2025 is based on an average oil price of $70 per barrel.
