At least three people were killed in a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego, including a mosque security guard.
Axar.az reports, citing CNN, San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl said two teenage suspects, aged 17 and 19, were later found dead in a car nearby.
Authorities said they “appear to have died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds,” according to Chief Wahl.
Law enforcement officials also reported disturbing evidence tied to the suspects, including a suicide note and hate-related writings.
One official told CNN that a suspect left a note containing “writings about racial pride,” and that “hate speech was also scrawled on one of the weapons that was used in the shooting.”
The investigation is ongoing, and the FBI is assisting local authorities.
